Absolutamente nada.

It wasn’t on my plans to go out last Thursday, I’vo got loads of coursework to do, but I’m very hard to convince.

So I went with Jamie to Lloyds No1 to meet the girls. We were having the first round and Jamie tells me that the people from the bank, where I worked last year, were in the bar. It was John’s leaving do and they were drinking for five hours straight. They were completely hammered drinking champagne, paints, etc. After a while the girls turned up so we went to the side leaving the rest.

The people from the bank started leaving until John and Kat were the last ones. I looked at my friend Emma and asked her what is going on here? She answered that since the Company’s Christmas party their friendship has been growing.

Like I said before, they were intoxicated with alcohol and you could see them too confortable together, at about two centimetres apart actually. They remained like that for about ten minutes and decided to leave the bar. Emma couldn’t believe and neither could I, John is married with children and Kat lives with her partner.

Time went by, finished our drinks and went to the club. We started walking by the water front and the way we saw against the fences the two of them snogging each other. Emma goes mental, glances again, looks again… That’s when I realise what’s going on and I said to her, keep walking. She looked back again and said, what shall I do? He is married, and she has a boyfriend! This is wrong!! I told her, you should forget about everything, you saw nothing, nothing happened here.

We kept on walking, got into the club and the issue was never brought up again.

The truth is that I don’t really know them that well. I worked at the bank last year for about a year, that there isn’t a lot of confidence to be honest.

What is the course of action in these cases? Do absolutely nothing about it.
