Ciudado que puede haber SPOILERS!!!

Hitch

Hitch, tipica comedia romantica yanki. Divertida por momentos pero la verdad que no es gran cosa. Will Smith no hace un gran trabajo, prefiero MIB antes que esto. El gordo de la comedia ‘King of Queens’ por lo menos se salva con un bailecito, divertido pero no le llega ni a los talones a David Brent ‘The Office’. No gasten su dinero en esta película, no vale la pena.

Puntuación: 2 ½ /5

Ahora si quieren ver una película en serio: ‘Million Dollar Baby’, no por nada se llevo varios Oscars (Mejor Pelicula, Mejor Director, Mejor Actor de Reparto y Mejor Actriz de Reparto). Morgan Freeman y Clint Eastwood se pasan!! Y ni hablar de Hilary Swank!! Hay drama, accion y romance!! Estupenda!

Termine con la tesis - Es un desastre pero la apruebo seguro. Lo único que la mande a imprimir, pague £15 y después me di cuenta que tenia un montón de errores. Nabo total!

Todavía me queda una presentación- Al lado de la tesis, esto no es nada. Ya falta poco...

La alarma de detección de humo dejo de sonar – La arranque de la pared porque no aguantaba más.

Las campanas de la iglesia siguen – No hay con que darle, me parece que voy a tener que ir a rezarle a Diosito para que paren.

El jueves es St. Patrick’s – Guiness 2x1!!!

El sábado me voy a Gran Canaria – Me tomo una semanita y me voy con mi amigo Dani a su tierra para pasar semana santa.

Por ahora, eso es todo.

On the free newspaper Metro there was a little article about his new success. The Black Guy from Halifax hits the chart at No. 13 with his cover of Barry White’s You’re The First, The Last, My Everything.

Do not worry, it’s for charity! The single is raising money for the NSPCC and the Children 1^st charity.

What would be next? The West End…? Hollywood?

Just a quick post while on a break from my dissertation. Found a few WHY? questions and thought these are the best two:

Why do we press harder on a remote control when we know the batteries are getting weak?

- I even hit it against the wall!!

Why do banks charge a fee on "insufficient funds" when they know there is not enough?

- Happened to me with my bloody overdraft and a standing order! I didn't have enough funds to pay my tuition fees, but there was enough to pay penalty, twats!

This morning I was reading The Sun (yes I know it’s a crappy newspaper but is cheap reading material for the bus) on my way to university. On the letter section I read this:

I PRESUME Madame Tussauds had some wax left over from another famous model.

What other reason could there be for making a statue of Howard, the singing Halifax man?

I could not believe so; I got home and searched on the net and this is what I found on Hello magazine:

So there you go, for £23.99 you could see the Halifax Guy Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum!

No puedo mas...//Can't deal with this anymore...

Cada 45 segundos mas o menos tengo un BIP que me esta taladrando la cabeza. Es de una de los tantos detectores de incendios que tenemos en el departamento.

Con una de las chicas con la que vivo, tratamos de apagarlo. Lo único que logramos fue despegarlo del techo. Lo volvimos a colocar en su lugar, no vaya a ser que después nos lo cobren por haberlo roto.

Estos ingleses y la paranoia de los incendios no tienen límites. Mientras tanto la alarma me esta volviendo loco!

Every 45 seconds more or less there is a BEEP that is doing my head in. It’s coming from one of the many fire detectors we got in the flat.

With one of my housemates, we tried to turn it off. We managed to take it off the ceiling. So, we put it back, just in case the landlord would try to charge us.

English people and the fire paranoia have no limits. Meanwhile the alarm is driving me mad!

Las 5 del Viernes

Es viernes y paso a 'contestar' Las cincon del viernes de esta semana.

Describe la imagen o recuerdo que se te viene a la cabeza con las siguientes palabras:
1. Arena - Veranos increibles en Punta del Este. Es especial el que pasamos con Mart, Bales, 'S', Banana y el Hernie en los ultimos dias. Tembien el que Javi se quedo en casa.
2. Noche - Vivo de noche, es mi todo! Como dice arriba, Don't do mornings hence I live at night.
3. Manjar - Sushi
4. Mal sueño - Nunca me voy a olvidar, no se si estaba despierto o dormido, en la quinta cuando lo vi al viejo con mismo piyamas pero otra cara. Horrible!
5. Piel - El debut, por mas que no haya sido de lo mejor ni con la persona que me hubiese gustado.

Falta poco para la entrega no. 100! Me subi justito!
